Dear Open Intermediate Junior Showmanship competitors,

I want to thank you on behalf of PEDIGREE® for your continued support of the PEDIGREE® Junior Showmanship competition. The 2007 World Dog Show in Mexico City, Mexico will be the last year that PEDIGREE® is sponsoring the World Dog Show. The governing body of the World Dog Show, the FCI, has entered into a multi-year sponsorship agreement with one of our competitors.

Unfortunately due to this change in the contractual sponsorship of the World Dog Show, Mars Pet Care USA and the PEDIGREE® Brand can no longer offer the prize of the trip to the World Dog Show for the Open Intermediate class after the 2007 World Dog Show. Therefore, any results for Junior Showmanship classes in 2007 for Open Intermediate or Open Junior are not offered a prize from PEDIGREE®.

I hope that you can understand our position as a company not being able to support non-PEDIGREE® sponsored events. BestJunior.com and I are exploring alternatives for the Open Intermediate as well as the Open Junior classes. The Open Senior Junior Showmanship competition is remaining unchanged.
